A fun group for the littlest explorers amongst us! Bring along your favorite grown-up and join us to explore the forests, fields and gardens around Prescott Farm in all their spring glory! Spring is a time for renewed energy, and these sessions are designed to keep children active and engaged.
May 3 – Signs of Spring
After a long, snowy winter, spring has sprung! Let’s read a book and go on a scavenger to find signs of spring around Prescott Farm.
May 10 – Exploring Shapes
Circles. Triangles. Squares. Did you know shapes are all around us in nature? We’re going to explore the trails to see what shapes we can find.
May 17 – Bugs and Worms and Salamanders, Oh My!
There are lots of creatures who live at Prescott Farm. Let’s explore the small creatures – worms, salamanders, newts, and others. We’ll go on a walk and turn over some rocks to see what critters we can find.
May 24 – A Morning in the Garden
The garden is blooming! We’ll spend our time in the garden – digging, smelling, and using our eyes and ears to explore our beautiful surroundings.
May 31 – Let’s Get “Cooking”
When was the last time you made a mud pie? How about mud soup? Let’s put on our chef hats on and see what we can “cook” up. Be prepared to get your hands messy (Please bring a change of clothes!)
June 7 – Colors in Nature
Let’s explore the beautiful colors of nature around Prescott Farm. We’ll see if we can find the whole rainbow!
