There is always something exciting to discover on our treks around Prescott Farm!  For ages 7-11, with an adult; Light activity.  See below for individual program descriptions.

Program Descriptions:

  • Track Detectives
    Saturday, January 12; 10:00-11:30
Explore Prescott Farm and look for tracks, scat, hair and other clues that can help us tell the story of what our animal friends (squirrels, mice, coyotes — maybe even porcupines and bobcats!) are up to in the winter!
  • Let’s Go “Owling!”
    Friday, February 15; 6:00-7:30
Have you ever heard an owl call that sounds like “Who-cooks-for-you-who-cooks-for-you-all?”  That’s a barred owl!  This time of year they are starting their mating season and are quite vocal.  We’ll start inside with the story Owl Moon and then put on our listening ears as we explore areas we’re most likely to hear them!
  • Coming Up….
    April 27—Amazing Vernal Pools
    May 25—The Forest in Bloom
    June 22—Spring at the Pond
