Prescott Farm WildQuest Summer Camp is a unique place to learn leadership. Beginning with the belief that every person can be a leader, Prescott Farm helps teens recognize their leadership styles and equips them with the tools to develop important leadership skills. This fosters lifelong environmental stewardship and a strong foundation for teens to be active citizens and change-makers.
Our Leaders In Training (LIT) program moves beyond buzzwords such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving to figure out what it really means for leaders to have these skills. Through exciting team building challenges and opportunities to guide younger campers, LITs have the opportunity to practice these skills, receive feedback from mentors and peers, and have fun!
- Build responsibility, initiative, and leadership skills.
- Learn with peers and LIT Program Supervisor to reflect on experiences and complete challenging team activities.
- Design program for younger campers during weekly Quest
- Learn from WildQuest Summer Camp Instructors by taking part in activities and projects with Quester groups to promote environmental stewardship, conservation and sustainable practices.
LITs are Summer WildQuest campers ages 13 & 14 who want to learn how to share their passions for science, nature, gardening, and art with others. The LITs are exposed to the responsibility and diligence it takes to become a leader, while learning about their role in a sustainable future.
