We are a member of United Way, so your employees can make a donation to Prescott Farm through payroll, and you can encourage philanthropy with a matching gift.
Select a date for you and your employees to roll up your sleeves and help out at Prescott Farm – we have LOTS to do, from gardening and trail maintenance to administrative and development projects – or participate in the United Way Day of Caring at Prescott Farm.
Want to encourage your employees to do community service on their own? Consider enrolling them in our service learning opportunities, so they can learn about something they are interested in and then put their new skills and knowledge into practice volunteering at Prescott Farm.
If underwriting a Prescott Farm program or event is not in your business plan this year, you can still help support our mission with a small fundraiser of your own. How about a “Flannel Friday” or “Dress Down” day? Employees contribute $1 to dress down, and proceeds benefit Prescott Farm. There are any number of days to celebrate and promote environmentalism, from Arbor Day to Earth Day – have a bake sale, start a donation jar, or have employees donate a portion of their pay or commissions for a day, a week or a month.
If you run a retail business, you can host a “Round Up” promotion by asking customers if they would like to round up their purchase to the next dollar, or by $2 or $5 to benefit Prescott Farm’s mission and programs. We will provide you with all of the promotional materials and press and social media coverage for your event.
We have numerous trails and glades, along with a natural Playscape on Prescott Farm’s 160 acre wildlife viewing area. Make a permanent impression on the landscape by purchasing a picnic table or bench, along with a commemorative plaque, to place on our grounds for our hikers, campers, and program and event attendees to use and enjoy for years to come.
