The Harvest Festival is our most popular community event of https://prescottfarm.org/service/harvest-festival-field-guide/the year, drawing over 800 people of all ages to our property for a day of fun on the farm. Admission to the public is free!

Featured activities at the Harvest Festival include horse- and tractor-drawn wagon rides, animals, outdoor family yoga, ukulele singalongs, field games, a hay jump, natural crafts, nature-based stories and activities, live music, colonial trades fair, and food by Beans and Greens Farm   and the Gravy Train!  PLUS – Alice in Wonderland characters by Powerhouse Theatre Collaborative,  and the Puckerbrush Band and the O’Brien Clan! Guests can also enjoy Prescott Farm’s 160-acre property at their own pace, including 3 miles of hiking trails, a natural PlayScape, and heirloom gardens for all to enjoy.

Prescott Farm is offered artists an opportunity to be part of the first

 

Are you interested in participating?  You are invited to visit Prescott Farm during July and August from dawn to dusk with your sketchbooks, paints, easels and cameras to capture a moment of inspiration, whether you are an accomplished artist or photographer or a novice to Plein Air opportunities. Come, relax and immerse yourself in the world of Natural beauty.

A unique addition to this creative experience will be six Inspiration Locations within Prescott Farm to help the novice decide on a subject or help the experienced artist or photographer find an unexpected gem of an idea. Because of limited display space, entries are received on a first come, first received basis.

  • Framed format not to exceed 12″ x 16″ (framed);
  • Register by August 21st;
  • Drop off ready-to-hang art (with wire backing only) between 9 – 12 noon to Prescott Farm on the 31st;
  • Exhibit is limited to 24 artists so register early!
  • No entry fee!
