During the springtime, Frogs are part of nature's symphony. Join us for a hike to the wetland areas of Prescott Farm. We'll begin indoors to learn about the springtime habits of the frogs we are most likely to hear. Then, we'll hike out to our wetland areas to see if we can identify which frogs are at Prescott Farm. No prior experience frogging by ear is necessary.

This hands-on workshop will cover the basics of how to make simple, delicious cheese in your own kitchen. We will cover equipment, supplies, and basic techniques used to make most types of cheese. Each participant will take part in making a batch of fresh mozzarella, ricotta, and paneer which will be made from start to finish in the class. Participants will take home instructions and a set of ingredients (minus the milk) to make a batch or two at home.

We will cover the basics of soapmaking using the cold process which results in a smoother finish using natural materials to add colors to the soaps. Each participant will take home about 10 bars of seasonally scented soap to enjoy after curing.
