Learn how to safely make your very own soap. We will cover the basics of soapmaking using the hot process, and participants will have the option of layering their soap with different colors, scents, and textures. Each participant will take home about 10 bars of seasonally scented soap to enjoy.
Please note: Indoor masking requirements are in place but for some portions of the Soapmaking program, 6' of social distance cannot be maintained. All participants will have a 'station partner'. You may register as an individual or in partner groups.
Recommended ages: Adults
$50 per person ($25 for members)
Physical demand: [1] = Activity is indoors or outside with up to 1/10 of a mile walking; includes both sitting and standing

Make a candle in a shape of your own design. We will learn the basics of candle-making by preparing the wax and designing our own candle molds using sand. Each participant will take home a sand-molded candle of their own design.
