Originally from Michigan, Mary joined Prescott Farm in June of 2021. She has worked as a classroom teacher, environmental educator, and youth programs director. She holds English and Education degrees from Alma College and Central Michigan University, and an M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction from Plymouth State University. Additionally, Mary is a community herbalist, having completed the Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine’s Herbal Immersion Program. She loves spending time in nature, wildcrafting, foraging, gardening, cross-country skiing, listening to bird language, playing tennis, practicing qigong, and discovering nature’s stories.
