Discovery Tours are a fantastic, free opportunity for our staff to share meaningful moments that inspire us at Prescott Farm. We hope they inspire you too! On a Discovery Tour you will hear stories about the meaningful connections and transformations people have experienced at Prescott Farm – whether through our nature-based preschool, Community Connections Programs or by volunteering! We’ll also share how our popular nature-based preschool instills a love for the outdoors in our youngest learners, with an emphasis on exploration in our gardens, fields, and forests.
As part of this free, 1-hour tour you will be guided through Prescott Farm’s state-of-the-art Innovation Center, Helen’s Meeting Room, and the historic, restored1883 barn.

Online registration for Prescott Farm Programs will be unavailable from Saturday, December 28th at 6pm until Monday, December 30th at 10am as we transition to a new registration system.

Prescott Farm Environmental Education Center is open year-round, offering over 160 acres of farmland, forests, and meadows, with more than 3 miles of scenic trails through woodlands, ponds, and meadows. Our dedicated volunteers maintain our Heritage Gardens and hiking trails so that visitors can fully experience the natural beauty of Prescott Farm.
Whether you’re a bird watcher, hiker, photographer, plein air artist, or simply someone who loves to soak in a beautiful view, Prescott Farm is a hidden gem in the Lakes Region.
Families are welcome to explore the Natural Playscape, wander our trails, enroll in our nature-based preschool program, or participate in one of our Community Connections Programs. We specialize in nature-based education, hands-on learning, New England crafts, culinary arts, and wellness.
And yet, even knowing all of this, there is still more to discover about the transformative experiences offered at Prescott Farm. On a Discovery Tour, you’ll meet the people who create and participate in the programs that make Prescott Farm a vital resource for the community. You’ll see and hear how our team deepens participants’ understanding and appreciation of the natural world through a variety of programs that promote education, social connections, and wellness.
