RE: COVID-19 Precautions
Dear Prescott Farm Program Participants, Volunteers, and Members,
As the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic looms I want to reach out to assure you that we are in close contact with local public health officials and are actively monitoring the changing status of the situation in the Lakes Region. At the present our Fledglings preschool, Community Connection Programs (including Tap into Maple), and WildQuest Camps are taking place as scheduled. If and when postponements or cancellations are necessary, all registered participants will be notified and announcements will be made on our website and on social media.
In the meantime, we have increased cleaning and disinfecting protocols: all preschool, camp, and public spaces/program equipment is disinfected multiple times daily; Hand sanitizer is available in the lobby for program participants; Visitors are being greeted warmly, but with common-sense social distancing practices rather than handshakes or hugs.
If you are scheduled to attend a program or event at Prescott Farm and are presenting symptoms of a fever or a cough, we ask that you please stay home. We are happy to credit your registration fee toward a future program.
In accordance with the CDC, we are encouraging the follow actions for our staff, and ask you to consider the same:
· Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
· Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
· Stay home when you are sick.
· Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
· Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
· Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate through the coming weeks. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns: info@prescottfarm.org or 603-366-5695.
Sincerely,
Jude Hamel, Executive Director
